Q: What's Covered?



A: Manufacturer warranties cover defects in workmanship or materials. Each item comes with a 30 day warranty, but with our smartCARE plan, your protected for 3 years! The ESP excludes normal wear and tear, misuse and consumable parts. Products replaced within 30 days of purchase do not affect the ESP.

Q: How Many Times Can I Use My Extended Service Plan?


A: If your product requires a replacement, we will replace the original product once. When using your smartCARE service plan it cannot be used again. You may opt to re-purchase another smartCARE plan on the replacement item which will give you the same great coverage for 3 years from the replacement date. Note that the Service Plan cost itself is not refundable.

 
 
Q: How Do I Purchase An ESP Online?



A: If the product option for an Extended Service Plan (ESP) is available, it will appear on the product page beneath the add to cart button.
If you choose not to add it during your initial purchase, don’t worry — we’ll send you a reminder email within 30 days, giving you another chance to purchase the plan and enjoy 3 years of coverage.

Q: How Do I Redeem My ESP If Needed?



A: All products at Showcase come with a standard 30-day exchange against manufacturing defects. If your item falls within this period, then your ESP will remain unaffected and continue as normal. Any defects past the original 30 days are only covered by having an ESP on the invoice for that item. Please check the receipt from your order with us to verify this.

If you need to use your ESP to replace a defective item, please email customer service so that you can be promptly taken care of. All we require is your name and order number, so be sure to keep a copy of your receipt if you've purchased an ESP with us.

Q: Can I Use My Online ESP At A Showcase Store?



A: At this time, the Extended Online Service Plan is NOT valid for items purchased in store and vice-versa.

  • What does the SmartCare plan cover?

    SmartCare covers manufacturing defects for 3 years from your purchase date. It excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, and consumable parts.

  • How long is the manufacturer’s warranty?

    All items come with a 30-day warranty covering defects in workmanship or materials.

  • How many times can I use my SmartCare plan?

    SmartCare allows for one replacement. Once used, the plan is no longer valid. You may choose to buy a new SmartCare plan for your replacement item.

  • Is the cost of the SmartCare plan refundable?

    No. The ESP fee is non-refundable, even if unused.

  • How can I buy an ESP online?

    If available, the plan will appear on the product page below the Add to Cart button. If not purchased immediately, you’ll receive a reminder email within 30 days to add it.

  • How do I redeem my ESP?

    If it’s within 30 days of purchase, you’re covered under the standard warranty. After 30 days, only customers who purchased the ESP are covered. To redeem, email customer service with your name and order number. Keep your receipt for proof of coverage.

  • Can I use my online ESP at a Showcase store?

    No. Online and in-store ESPs are not interchangeable.

  • What if my product was replaced within 30 days?

    A replacement made within the 30-day standard warranty does not affect your ESP. It remains valid for the full 3-year term.

  • Can I transfer my ESP to another product or person?

    No, the ESP is non-transferable. It only applies to the original product and purchaser.

  • What Are Defects in Workmanship?

    Defects in workmanship refer to flaws or problems that occur during the manufacturing or assembly process of a product. This could include: Loose or improperly fitted parts, poor soldering or stitching, misaligned components, or items that don’t function as intended due to how they were built. These issues are not caused by the user, and they are typically covered under both the manufacturer’s warranty and the SmartCare Extended Service Plan.
