No purchase necessary. All Showcase customers are eligible to enter the contest. Any Canadian or US resident thirteen (13) years of age or over is eligible to win, except the employees of Showcase or its affiliates, partners and sponsors, advertising agency and consultants, and other sponsors. Eligible contest winners under the age of 16 require parental consent to claim their prize.

 
By entering the “Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary: Win a $1,000 Shopping Spree” contest the entrant hereby agrees and consents to the terms and conditions of this contest.

 
The contest period is from November 1, 2024 starting at 12:01 am EST to – January 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.

 
To enter the "Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary: Win a $1,000 Shopping Spree" contest: the entrant must follow any of the three easy steps below:
 

1. Visit any Canadian Showcase store or https://ca.shopatshowcase.com and make a purchase of our Hello Kitty Mystery Tote Bag (Product SKU 39000).  Every qualifying purchase made during the contest period will count as one entry in the “Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary: Win a $1,000 Shopping Spree” contest.
    
2. Sign up for our Newsletter between November 1, 2024 and January 2, 2025. (One entry only, no purchase required).
    
3. Submit a 50-word essay on your favorite Hello Kitty character by mail to:

   Envelope must be addressed to Showcase: Hello Kitty Contest (every mail entry received counts as 1 contest entry)
    
    

Prizes:

 
There is one grand prize to be won. The grand prize consists of a $1,000 Shopping Spree in one of our Showcase locations. (Location to be determined by Showcase). The ARV of this prize is $1,000 CAD .

 
The eligible winner must follow the directions on the Golden Bow prize card and submit an email to:  support@shopatshowcase.com with their full name, mailing address, phone number, email and date of birth, plus their Golden Bow code (found on the winning ticket), and optional, proof of purchase (if applicable).

 
The winner must email before January 10, 2025 to qualify.  The winner must complete a time limited, mathematical skill testing question administered over the phone.

 
Proof of identification must be provided upon request. In order to be declared the winner, the potential winner must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. Before being awarded the prize, the potential winner will be required to sign a Contest Release Form. The winner shall authorize the release of their name and photograph for advertising and publicity relating to the contest, in perpetuity.

 
In the event that a potential winner is not eligible, cannot be contacted by Showcase within 2 business days of being announced, or does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, or does not sign the Contest Release form, Showcase shall have the right to disqualify that potential winner and to draw an alternate potential winner.

 
Showcase, reserves the right to disqualify an entrant of the contest at any time should they not fulfil any requirements of the contest.

 
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, have no cash value and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions. Prizes may not be sold or bartered. Showcase reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute the prize for another prize of equal or greater value if the prize as described cannot be awarded for any reason.

 
By entering the “Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary: Win a $1,000 Shopping Spree”, each entrant releases Showcase of all liability or risk involved with this contest, and Showcase is in no way held responsible or liable in any way related to this contest and each entrant completely releases Facebook/Instagram from any and all accountability.

 
All entries become the property of Showcase. Rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. Showcase's decisions are final.  Participation in this promotion is subject to the official rules.
