2011 is a year I will never forget. I was juggling with being a new mom to a 1 year old and balancing working and family. And then the news hit…my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I still feel sick to my stomach as I remember the constant worry and feeling helpless. As I reached out to friends and family for support, I heard story after story about breast cancer affecting the lives of their loved ones.

We all have family, friends, coaches, teachers, and co-workers who have had breast cancer.

In fact, 1 in 8 women are expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime. On average 74 Canadian women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, and tragically, 14 die.

When we founded Peplos, we wanted it to be more than just about physical support. Peplos is more than a product… it’s a mission. We support and empower all women by donating a portion of every sale to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Every dollar donated today is one step closer to helping someone survive breast cancer tomorrow.
