How Does A Neck Stretcher Work?
As we age, gravity begins to pull the spine down, compressing the vertebrae and often causing pain and discomfort. The first step to making a stretching device work for you is to try and completely relax the neck and shoulder muscles. Once that happens, the stretcher starts to stretch the spine vertically, creating some space in between the vertebrae and counteracting the natural effects of gravity.
A neck stretcher also works to relieve issues with the sciatic nerve, neck pain, migraines, and sore upper back muscles. It’s also great to use with any number of physical stretches, including yoga postures, to help with relief and flexibility. Insert the side of the stretcher that does NOT have the neck rest into the singular slot.
Bend the stretcher so the side with the neck rest slides into one of the three slots on the other side, dependant on which of the three stretch levels you're aiming for.
Gently slide the yoga bar foam strip down so it lies flush with the surface of the stretcher for optimum comfort.
