• Are any accessories or weapons included?

  Yes, this kit comes packed with a wide array of accessories and weapons to fully arm your RX-78-2 Gundam. Included are a beam rifle, two beam sabers (one of which features built-in LED lighting), a large shield, and a detachable Core Fighter. You’ll also get multiple interchangeable hand parts, four pilot figures (including Amuro and Seira), and display-enhancing extras like metal parts for the vernier and Vulcan guns, etched stickers, and marking decals for a detailed finish.

• Does it require painting?

  Painting is not required—the kit comes molded in color. However, hobbyists can enhance details with optional paint or panel lining for a more polished look.

• Are batteries or electronics involved in this kit?

  This kit includes advanced electronics for a more dynamic display. It comes with a new dual RGB LED lighting unit that illuminates the head and chest with color-changing effects, as well as a micro lighting system inside one of the beam sabers for a glowing blade effect. A test BR435 lithium battery is included for initial setup, but two LR41 button-cell batteries are also required for full operation (sold separately). The lighting elements are a highlight of the kit and elevate the finished model to a whole new level of realism.

• What tools do I need to build this model?

  Basic Gunpla tools like plastic nippers, a hobby knife, a sanding file, and panel lining markers are recommended. Glue is not necessary.

  Due to its scale and unique frame design, combining it directly with other kits isn’t common, but accessories from other 1/60 Perfect Grade kits can sometimes be modified to fit. Builders with advanced modeling skills can also kitbash or modify components to create a one-of-a-kind display piece.
